Trumouse Pro: Installation

  • Footprint: approximately 1296 mm × 1296 mm; height approximately 2130 mm. Stationary, floor-standing installation; not for use while moving.
  • Operating temperature: 20 °C to 26 °C; around 23 °C is recommended, as for mouse housing.
  • Relative humidity: 30 ~ 70 %RH; Non-condensing.
  • Indoors, away from light.
  • Quiet, with no noticeable or sudden noise and no people walking around.

See Figure “System topology” for the system connections.

The Reader Array and environmental sensor are connected to the switch by network cable (see Network Connections); the Industrial Camera connects to the Compute Unit by USB 3.0. Use shielded network cable; Category 5e or higher is recommended. Each Reader Array block has 2 network ports. Keep all of them connected by network cable (8 cables for the Trumouse Pro). Each block also has 2 DC power inputs (8 for the Trumouse Pro). Use the supplied 1-to-2 DC splitter cable to connect all inputs of a block to one 5 V DC supply. The network configuration is set up by Murinova before delivery; do not change it.

The DC power connectors of the components look identical, so there is a risk of connecting the wrong supply (see Electrical Safety). When wiring, connect each component only to a supply of its rated voltage, as listed below; do not swap them:

Table: Trumouse Pro rated supply of each component

Component Rated supply
Reader Array floor platform 5 V DC
Environmental sensors 12 V or 24 V DC
Infrared Light 24 V DC
Industrial Camera External 12 V / 24 V DC supply
Compute Unit Use the dedicated power adapter supplied with it
